afropunk premiere: brazilian singer flavia coelho’s hypnotic tom fire remix of her track ‘nossa regiao’

Today we’re premiering singer Flavia Coelho’s new remix – ‘Nossa Regiao’ (Tom Fire Remix )’. The track is from the Paris-based Brazilian’s sophomore album, ‘Mundo Meu‘ (released via Mr. Bongo Records); and is remixed by French producer Tom Fire (who has worked with the likes of MC Solaar, Winston and Matthew Mc Anuff, and Yael Naim). Coelho’s camp describe the remix as “hypnotic ethnic berimbau notes layered on a deep groove”. Check it out below.
