afropunk premiere: rosemary fiki shares her new video – ‘shapes’

Today we’re premiering the new video from Nigerian-American rock-soul singer RoseMary Fiki. Directed by M. Larsen and Karl Hicks, the video is for the lead single of her sophomore effort – ‘The Great Unknown’. Inspired by Andy Warhol, Basquiat, American Horror Story, and The Walking Dead, the Philadelphia based musician headed up north to team up with Toronto based producer Wriggz Durigorous and fellow Philadelphian Karl Hicks to create her new single; and regarding the song, RoseMary Fiki says: “Lately, I’ve been very inspired by Bjork and Radiohead. For this single, I really wanted to delve into synth and electronic instrumentation.” Check out the video below!
