introducing: la based rock drummer alicia warrington

Whether it’s Sheila E – undoubtedly one of the best funk musicians ever – or Sandy West of all American female rock group The Runaways, women have shown time and time again that they can play as good as any man (and at times even better). Meet drummer Alicia Warrington, the LA based rock musician who has been garnering a lot of attention with her drum skills (currently working with British singer-songwriter Kate Nash). Warrington – who is openly gay – has been playing in bands since the age of 12 and got her big break when she began playing with Kelly Osbourne in 2002. Check her out, below.
