new music: willow smith covers king krule’s “easy easy”

September 5, 2014

“Traveling multidimensional emotional planes with frequency expression.” This is how Willow Smith describes her cover of British singer King Krule’s “Easy Easy”. She has done it again after contributing the whipsy “8” to Kitty Cash’s Love The Free II mixtape. The thirteen-year old reminds us that she has matured from “Whip My Hair!” and she is ready to do anything to get her message across. While she sings “Well they just want you for your dough, man I’m sure I told you so”, a pulsating guitar accompanies her wavy vocals. Willow has respectably given us a glimpse of how she’s really feeling. Check out the song below!
