The eleven-track album, ‘mi Mandela’, showcases some of South Africa’s undiscovered musical talents whilst featuring several established artists; including contributions from Mr Hudson, Mumford and Sons, Cody ChesnuTT and George The Poet as well as South African female vocal harmony group Mahotella Queens and solo artist Nothembi Mkhwebane.

The album will be released November 24th, you can pre-order HERE. Regarding the project, Elba says: “South Africa has numerous different tribes and each one has a musical expression, and each one has a very unique, different sound style. At the time I had my studio at the apartment I was staying in while I was making ‘Mandela’ – a little keyboard, a laptop – and as an experiment to myself, I vowed to keep making music.”
