kelis plans to release new album in april

Kelis is to release her anticipated forthcoming sixth studio album, Food. Guest production by TV On the Radio’s Dave Sitek, and is described in a press release to be “a soul record that’s as raw and alternative as it is classic.” 

Food, originally set for this past September, will release April 28 via United Kingdom-based indie label, Ninjatune.
