festival feature: the dust rays

When Captain Kirk Douglas and Mark Kelley aren’t busy holding down beats for the Roots, the two, along with Ricc Sheridan of alternative rock band Earl greyhound, form the Dust Rays. The collaboration is genius, funkadelic and slightly harder than you be used to of the member’s separate bands.  Ready for the trio to take the AfroPunk 2013 stage? You better be, because they’re coming for your heads.
