black rockers, alternative models remind everyone that black is punk with photo series

Check out this awesome photo series by UK babe The Hot Cocoa and friends Dean and Luna! Fierce, fearless, and bad AF, the trio shows off their IDGAF attitudes and fashion aesthetics in a world that so desperately tries to cram black people into tightly bound boxes. An ode and shout out to all the black alternative models who are told they’re not a “good fit” for publication when they really mean “not white”. By collaborating on this project together the trio aims to show that not only do black folks belong in punk-rock scenes—we look damn good in them.
