“Bwoys” is the dope visual project from a group of Caribbean collectives who are paying homage to the arts and to their Caribbean heritage through movement and photography. With natural hair textures locked into dreads, piercings and gold jewelry decorate these model’s faces most regally. Callbacks to dancehall culture and its showy aesthetics, as well as Jamaican dancer Mr. wacky aka Bogle, a true legend on the island. “Caribbean people I don’t always feel we are captured in a positive light, so it was important that the project shines a positive light on us,” says stylist Ramario Chevon.
