#blackfathers are trending on twitter, dispelling bullsh*t stereotypes
Dispelling the negative mythology and culturally inaccurate stereotype the black fathers are absent, black twitter made the hashtag #BlackFather trend this week by posting positive images of dad’s and their kids. Whether these dads are on carpool duty, feeding their babies, or attending ballet recitals, black dads are the shit. And more than that, they care about their families and loved ones in tender, fatherly ways—a gentler image of black manhood that the media so often declines to represent.
