janelle monae & jordan peele collab on hitchcock-inspired photo series

Inspired by film noir and the work of director Alfred Hitchcock, filmmaker Jordan Peele, and the multi-talented Janelle Monae are clearly getting pumped for the 90th Academy Awards and teamed up for this awesome photo series paying homage to cinema history. Borrowing from iconic scenery reminiscent of the urban apartment setting of Rear Window and dressed like Detective Arbogast, the pair re-create a sense of suspense and unsettling tension for W Magazine with the help photographer Collier Schorr and stylist by Sara Moonves.
