10 actresses who would be great as storm

Yesterday, we mentionned actress Alexandra Shipp who lambasted fans and critics for saying that Storm in the X-Men franchise (currently portrayed by Shipp) should be a dark-skinned actress. In response to this representational request for underrepresented Black women, Shipp fired back saying that 90% of the racism she experiences is from Black people. Meaning she’s not experiencing racism from White people. Which sure sounds a lot like light skinned privilege, doesn’t it?

Anywho! Here are some fantastic Black actresses who might be better suited to play the iconic badass now that Bryan Singer is toast.
