Bongekile Simelane AKA Babes Wodumo is a South African artist, model and dancer who is setting the industry on fire. A Gqom and Kwaito star (South African electronic music genres), she fuses her signature brightly colored wigs and killer dance moves over infectious beats to churn out head-bopping hit after head-bopping hit.

Her most well-known single, “Wololo”, which means “happy” in Chichewa, will make you feel exactly that. The video follows the singer through various high-energy settings, dancing through celebrations as if it’s her job to make sure the party never ends.
