wait, the new ‘powerpuff’ girl is black?!

It’s official: Cartoon Network classic The Powerpuff Girls are getting a new friend! Entertainment Weekly revealed the announcement with the release of a silhouetted figure (below) standing next to Bubbles, Buttercup, and Blossom. The character won’t be officially released until the until the premiere episode of the five-part movie event, but there’s an image currently breaking the Internet showing a Black Powerpuff girl! (see above) It’s still a rumor for now, The Powerpuff Girls: Power of Four, airs Sunday, Sept. 17, let’s see who the new addition is.
