Filmmaker Matthew A. Cherry is just as prolific on the Twittersphere as he is on the big screen. In a tweet series that went viral, Cherry decided to celebrate “Black women unbothered by the police: A Photo Series” for Black History Month. The photos show badass women standing up to police in ways most of us couldn’t imagine. From women being arrested by SWAT, to pushing a bayonet out of the way, it seems that law enforcement is clearly no match for the fearlessness of a Black woman.
