Battle of the 1Bands

Divine Interface

2019 marks Divine Interface’s fourth consecutive appearance at Afropunk Atlanta since the festival’s Southern debut, but producer/DJ (and Georgia native) Drew Briggs’ roots in the city’s club scene stretch back over a decade. In that time he’s also notched releases for a number of internationally-recognized labels including CGI, Harsh Riddims, and Two Circles while receiving nods from Resident Advisor and XLR8R. Briggs has brought his free-flowing, left-field take on underground dance music with equal enthusiasm to DIY spaces, marquee clubs and everywhere in between, tied to neither scene nor genre. Yet Briggs is that all-too-rare artist who can truly claim to unite the disparate sounds of the current Atlanta underground, and is a friend and ally to all. Seeking Arrangement is his forthcoming EP on New Jersey’s 2MR Records.
