YEИDRY is a singer-songwriter who grew up between the Dominican Republic and Italy. She now spends her time writing and recording between Europe and the US. YEИDRY was previously the lead singer of a Jazz and Electronic band in Italy, before embarking on her solo project in Jan 2019. She is signed to RCA US & Mushroom Music Groupon the label side & Warner Chappell and Mushroom for publishing.
She grew up with 90s pop R&B, traditional latin music and electronic music. She has a passion for voice melodies, harmonies, percussions
and electronic sounds so her core goal in music is to find her dimension by taking inspiration from different cutltures, trying to mix latin vibes, percussions and voice with an electronic touch.
She refers to herself as a cultural mix with the last two years being made up of her travelling, experimenting with samples and writing stories about her experiences, childhood and her mother’s life.
2021 was YEИDRY’s breakout year. She collaborated with J. Balvin, Damian Marley, Mozart La Para and Emotional Oranges. YouTube chose YEИDRY to perform alongside some of her biggest inspirations , R&B icon Mary J. Blige and the incredible Jazmine Sulliva, at the iconic Apollo Theatre in Harlem, NY, as part of their ad week. Prior to that, she made her major U.S festival debut at Austin City Limits. In November, YEИDRY took the stage at the renowned Corona Capital Festival in Mexico. She finished off the year being the face of Spotify’s campaigns, ‘Frequency’ and ‘Equal’ which were featured in Times Square. Just before the year closed, her single ‘YA’ was named one of Barack Obama’s Top Songs of 2021.
2022 is set to be an even bigger year. Already she has released her single, ‘Mascarade’, with Lous and the Yukuza, recorded the original song Amazon’s latest hit animation ‘Hotel Transylvania 4’ and was front row at the highly publicised Kenzo catwalk for Men’s Fashion Week in Paris alongside her contemporaries Kanye West, Tyler the Creator, J. Balvin and Pharrell. In the coming months, YENDRY will release her debut album and embark on her global tour including headlining appearances
in both her home towns at ‘Isle of Light’ Festival in Santa Domingo & ‘Club 2 Club Festival’, Turin.
