Afropunk has garnered a global following, exporting its weekendlong celebration of unapologetic blackness to Paris, London and now Johannesburg, where such events are rare. The music festival has grown to the level of cultural institution, and it’s connecting the African diaspora.

Afropunk welcomed an eclectic mix of stylish and socially conscious people from around the country, who like other Afropunk fans around the world, are drawn together in the spirit of intersectional activism and celebrating Black culture.

The Afropunk crowds deliver LOOKS! From cool body mods to the lushest afros and the funkiest threads, this is always the place to be for anyone who cares about showing off their interesting, individual style.
