O que é o AFROPUNK?
O AFROPUNK é uma comunidade influente de pessoas talentosas, de todas as origens, que se comunicam através da música, arte, cinema, comédia, moda e as mais diversas manifestações de arte. Tudo começou com o documentário de 2003 que destacava a presença negra no cenário punk americano, hoje o AFROPUNK é uma plataforma para o alternativo e experimental. Permanecem no centro de sua missão os princípios punk da estética DIY ( faça você mesmo), pensamento radical e inconformidade social. O AFROPUNK é uma voz para os não escritos, indesejados e inéditos, redefinindo a experiência urbana.
Existem regras para participar do AFROPUNK?
O AFROPUNK cumpre os princípios: SEM SEXISMO, SEM RACISMO, SEM CAPACITISMO, SEM ETARISMO, SEM HOMOFOBIA, SEM GORDOFOBIA, SEM TRANSFOBIA, SEM ÓDIO. Nós nos esforçamos para criar um espaço seguro no backstage e na frente do palco.

Todos os titulares de ingressos receberão o mesmo nível de admissão para o festival. Todo mundo é VIP em São Paulo!

Onde é o melhor lugar para comer?
Food trucks estarão disponíveis no pátio externo, à direita do corredor de entrada.

Sim, haverá opções vegetarianas em alguns dos food trucks.

O Merch Booth está localizado no hall de entrada.
Onde fica o posto médico?
No piso inferior haverá um médico, enfermeiro e bombeiros no local durante o evento.
Onde posso carregar meu telefone?
Não há cabine de carregamento, por favor, traga um portátil.
Onde vai estar o Achados e Perdidos do evento?
No guarda-volumes.
Posso pegar transporte público?
Sim! O local fica próximo à Estação Palmeiras – Barra Funda, que também é um terminal de ônibus.

O Festival é acessível a PcD?
Sim. Existe uma área de visualização acessível para PcD à esquerda da estação House Mix. Os banheiros no primeiro andar são acessíveis para PcD.
Posso ter animais de serviço?
Não.
Onde estão os banheiros acessíveis?
Um banheiro grande no primeiro andar, um banheiro fora perto da árvore. Um banheiro no andar VIP. Um banheiro em um pequeno clube VIP (não acessível a clientes não VIP)
O que você pode trazer:
Um recipiente reciclável (sem vidro) para água (não dois, três ou quatro ou qualquer quantidade acima de um)
Sacos pequenos e Mochilas usadas para o transporte de crianças são ok, mas grandes mochilas grandes não serão permitidas.
Bolsas pequenas e sacos transparentes
O que você NÃO pode trazer *:
Armas (armas, facas ou qualquer tipo de arma)
Fogos de artifício ou explosivos
Substâncias ilegais
Recipientes ou latas de vidro

What is AFROPUNK?
AFROPUNK is an influential community of young, gifted people of all backgrounds who speak through music, art, film, comedy, fashion and more. Originating with the 2003 documentary that highlighted a Black presence in the American punk scene, it is a platform for the alternative and experimental. Remaining at the core of its mission are the punk principles of DIY aesthetics, radical thought, and social nonconformity. AFROPUNK is a voice for the unwritten, unwelcome and unheard-of, redefining the urban experience.
Are there rules to attend AFROPUNK?
AFROPUNK abides by the tenets: NO SEXISM, NO RACISM, NO ABLEISM, NO AGEISM, NO HOMOPHOBIA, NO FATPHOBIA, NO TRANSPHOBIA, NO HATEFULNESS. We strive to create a safe space for all behind, on, and in front of the stage. Read more here.

Is the concert rain or shine?
Yes, the festival is a rain or shine event.
What time do doors open?
10 PM or 22H
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is a parking lot next to the venue
How much does it cost to Park?
$R30 per day
What time does the concert end?
All entertainment will end at 6:00 AM.
Is there re-entry into the concert?
There is no re-entry into the festival.
Do I get a wristband upon entering the venue?
Yes, if you have access to the VIP area you will receive a wristband at the entrance.
Are Tickets Still Available?
Yes, tickets can be purchased here.
We suggest you buy in advance, as tickets may sell out.
Can I upgrade to VIP?
All ticket holders will be granted the same level of admission for the festival. Everyone is VIP in Sao Paulo.
Where are the restrooms?
Please see signs located throughout the venue for restrooms.
Where is the best place to eat?
Food trucks will be available in the outdoor courtyard to the right of the entry hallway.
Will there be vegetarian/vegan items?
Yes, there will be vegetarian options from some of the food trucks.
Are there water stations?
No.
Where is the Merch Booth?
The Merch Booth is located in the entry hall.
Where is the Medical Tent?
At the smaller stage. There will be a doctor, nurse, and firefighters at the venue during the event.
Where can I charge my phone?
There is no charging booth, please bring a portable.
Where is Lost and Found?
At coat check.
Can I take public transportation?
Yes! The venue is located near the Station Palmeiras – Barra Funda which is also a bus station.
How do I get to the parking lot?
There are many parking lots at Avenida Francisco Matarazzo.
Where is the best place to call a Taxi/Uber/Lyft?
In front of the venue

Is the Festival accessible to people with disabilities?
Yes. There is an ADA accessible viewing area to the left of the House Mix station. The restrooms on the first floor are ADA accessible.
Am I allowed to have service animals?
No.
Where are accessible restrooms?
One large restroom on first floor, One restroom outside near the tree. One restroom on the VIP floor. One restroom in small VIP club (not accessible to non-VIP patrons)
What you can bring in:
One recyclable (non-glass) container for water (not two, or three or four or any quantity over one)
Small bags & *Framed backpacks used for carrying children are fine but backpacks are discouraged – Large backpacks will not be allowed in.
Small purses and clear bags
What you may NOT bring in*:
Weapons (guns, knives, or any weapons of any kind)
Fireworks or explosives
Illegal substances
Glass containers or cans
Framed or Large backpacks, book bags or non-transparent bags over hand size (any bag that is not clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and over 12”x6”x12” in size will not be allowed)
Food or drinks of any kind – other than reusable water bottles
Coolers or picnic baskets
Lensed cameras, long-lens cameras or professional photography equipment
Any type of travel-friendly chairs or other lawn furniture
Bicycles, scooters* or other personal motorized vehicles (including, but not limited to: motor scooters, powered skateboards, and hoverboards) *Motorized wheelchairs and personal mobility scooters are welcome, of course.
Radios, boomboxes, instruments or devices with amplified sound.
Large multi-person umbrellas (personal umbrellas for rain protection are fine.)

Items for vending. Unauthorized vendors will not be allowed. All authorized vendors have been carefully chosen for safety and quality.
*None of these items will be permitted on the premises, and you will be prohibited from entering if anything listed is in your possession.
Will I be searched upon entry?
Yup, festival security will search all persons and bags prior to entry. Please review the prohibited items list if you aren’t sure whether or not you can bring something.
What is your re-entry policy?
All exits are final.

Can I bring outside food & drinks?
No, only a recyclable container for water.
Is AFROPUNK an all-ages event?
Of course, no ageism.
