Martell x AFROPUNK Partner for Black HERStory

AFROPUNK and Martell partnered for AFROPUNK’s Black HERSTORY which recognized and honored the contributions of Black women in art, music, culture, and society. We believe it’s important to lift up the stories and achievements of Black women, who have too often been overlooked and marginalized.

The event brought together an incredible lineup of artists, including India Arie, Umi, Mereba, Celisse, Danielle Ponder, aja monet, Mahogany L. Browne, and choreographer Ebony Williams. The performances were nothing short of amazing, and we were thrilled to see the artists’ unique voices and perspectives shine on stage. But that’s not all. Throughout the two-day event, Martell hosted VIP spaces where talent and guests congregated and enjoyed Martell signature cocktails. This was all part of Martell’s “Soar Beyond The Expected” campaign, which encourages not only artists but also taste makers in general to break free from traditional constraints and push the boundaries of what’s possible.
