babyfang Carves Their Own Path On “Goan Go”

Through tessellated fractals of fuzzed out noise, babyfang’s first single from their forthcoming record is one of the most confident debuts in recent memory. The Brooklyn band’s sound pushes past the hazy blend of resources into a sound entire all their own. “Goan Go” wears its contradictions proudly; a hifi recording with a lofi soul. The band kicks off with a short of distortion before settling into a washed out verse, and then back again. Vocals swirl between forward and delayed cutting back and forth between hyper multi-tracked and clean.
