black haus brightens up dismal days with “colours”

Short, sweet, and soothing. In a nutshell, that’s Black Haus‘s new single and video for “Colours.” Released today on one of the strangest, most anxiety-inducing Friday the 13ths in recent history, the song features Black Haus guitarist Taylor Williams’ dulcet vocals.

The simple yet striking Siid Pennix-directed visuals present Williams laying on his back, mic in hand ,singing while being wheeled along a polychromatic ground-as-changing background — the perfect pairing for synesthetic lyrics like “If you hear in colors/ should you let ’em all fall down on you.”

The song, which clocks in at just under 90 seconds, is a welcome breath of fresh air in an atmosphere polluted by panic.
