Austin electro-punk trio Trouble In The Street’s Rule Breaker EP has been getting steady play around these parts. Their unique blend of sounds and styles anchors a confrontational attitude. Singer Nnedi Nebula Agbaroji breaths pure fire into the mic, making death defying hairpin turns from massive hooks to defiant verses. The latest single from the EP is the standout “Chasing Whatever,” whose video translate’s Agbaroji’s unique swagger into a feast of surreal and dynamic imagery.

Nnedi Nebula Agbaroji descrbes the video, directed by Jonny Underwood as “a personification of Trouble in The Streets’ subconscious. Things experienced through dream states that manifest and cause synchronicity in waking life. Chasing Whatever is the deconstruction of programmed paradigms that suppress your ability to melt together dreams and reality.”
