Congratulations are in order for Nigerian artist Yemi Alade for becoming the first African woman artist to hit 1 million subscribers on YouTube!
Known for her super-popular music videos, the pop singer’s visual for her hit single “Johnny” is also the most watched Nigerian music video on YouTube. Breaking the news herself across social media, the up-and-comer said “1st female Entertainer in Africa to have over 1 MILLION subscribers on YouTube. God is the GREATEST, started this journey six years ago. Thanks to everyone streaming / watching my videos and music. Godbless us all.”
