pregame afropunk sets with masego’s tiny desk

In case you haven’t heard, Masego is talented AF. We had the great pleasure of hosting him this year at AFROPUNK Paris 2019 and get to do so again in Brooklyn, ATL and Johannesburg too.

Masego’s Tiny Desk performance is full of funny moments. The set began with a bit where another person pretended to be him — and pretended to play the sax — and at another point rain was made when he threw money at the NPR staff. To add to the magic, there’s Melanie Faye supports him on guitar. In short, this Tiny Desk is a feel-good, little vacation.
