Queer love is in the animated air! With the coming out of Arthur’s Mr. Ratburn, gay cartoon characters are popping up all over the place! Kinda! Hulu’s new series, The Bravest Knight, is introducing kids to an LGBTQ+ family with a groundbreaking story. Based on Daniel Errico’s popular children’s book, The Bravest Knight Who Ever Lived follows Sir Cedric as he shares his personal journey to becoming “the Bravest Knight” with his 10-year-old daughter Nia, who is training to become a brave knight all her own. Once a day-farmer-turned-full-fledged knight, Cedric and his husband teach young Nia the importance of having a kind, compassionate and just heart.

The series will also star Wanda Sykes and Emmy winner RuPaul too boot! T.R. Knight of Grey’s Anatomy fame will voice Sir Cedric with Wilson Cruz as Prince Andrew. Additional characters will be voiced by Christine Baranski, Bobby Moynihan, and Storm Reid!

The first five episodes are set to appear on Hulu starting June 21!
