According to President Trump’s Bond villain of a Treasury Secretary Steven Mnunchin, Harriet Tubman ain’t comin’ to the $20 bill after all. Or at least not until Trump leaves office. Despite the Obama administration’s initiative to unveil the new Tubman bill in 2020, the action is being postponed until at least 2026 with bills not going into circulation until 2028. Sigh. So, former President Andrew Jackson’s racist-ass face will continue to line folk’s pockets.

Worried that Trump was going to cancel the move altogether, Mnunchin opted for a delay on the new design. Back when the Obama administration announced the move, Trump referred to the change as “pure political correctness”, suggesting that Tubman be reduced to a far less common denomination like the $2 bill. “Andrew Jackson had a great history, and I think it’s very rough when you take somebody off the bill,” said Trump.

Boy, I hate him.
