Paul Butler is the author of the new best seller “Chokehold: Policing Black Men,” which The New York Times described as the best book on criminal justice since “The New Jim Crow.” Paul is a MSNBC legal analyst and a visiting professor at Harvard Law School, where he teaches “Black Lives Matter and the Law.” Paul is a renegade prosecutor, graduate of Yale and Harvard, and a native son of Chicago. His first book was “Let’s Get Free: A Hip-Hop Theory of Justice.”
