The internets were in an uproar over this sweet footage of Ozzie Albies comforting, or simply being affectionate with Ronald Acuña Jr. of the Atlanta Braves. Whatever the reason of their hugging, it’s nice to see these two men being vulnerable and showing love to each other, when too many men would have felt pressured to not display such tenderness. It seems that men can’t show vulnerability or softness without being attacked or labeled “gay”, apparently, which goes to show how many men have been taught to shut down and shun part of their humanity.
