A Bohemian glam photo series featuring Brazilian model Deise Nicolau and shot by Jonathan Wolpert, this inspired editorial, published exclusively in AFROPUNK, pays homage to the sculptures of artist Woodrow Nash and his embrace of “African Nouveau” through the medium. Also drawing from the busts created by Baule and Kongo-Yombe people, the project gives art history a fierce and sensual update styled by Miguel Cuenca with makeup by William Cruz.
