We told you about the Black Girl Magic that occurred at this year’s Cannes Film Festival: 16 fabulous Black French actresses stunted on ’em on the red carpet and left them shook.
Now you can go behind-the-scenes with the ladies, thanks to a mini-documentary released by one of them, Shirley Souagnon (who hosted AFROPUNK Paris a few years ago):

The happening is part of their campaign around the book ‘Noire n’est pas mon métier’ (which means ‘Black is not my job’), calling out discrimination and racism in the French film industry.
