visually stunning pan-african graphic novel to get full-length animated adaptation

You might remember the interactive ‘Black Sands’ visual novel from 2016, and two years later here is the pan-African tale’s animated series. Created by Black Sands Entertainment founder Manuel Godoy, ‘Black Sands’ the series is a choose your own adventure that centers around to children who become kings and the legendary journey of the Egyptian god Ausar. “Black Sands is more than just comic-book heroics and wild conspiracy theories – it aims to convey a deeper understanding of real-world ancient history and cultural diversity as well,” Godoy writes.
