Black Girl Magic won this year’s Met Gala (again) and black woman illustrator, Autumn Farris, celebrated the heavenly black beauty of afrofutrist queen and AFROPUNK Brooklyn performer, Janelle Monáe and the costume she wore to the event. The budding visual artist has only been at it for a short period of time, but her work continues to evolve in style and technique. Experimenting with hand-drawn portraits of Jaden Smith, Caleon Fox, and Rico. Can’t wait to watch this talented young artist flourish.
