kaytranada reworks robert glasper’s jazz epic ‘the artscience’ in new 8-track remix album

The weekend came early with the release of Robert Glasper and Kaytranada’s ‘The Artscience Remixes’. An 8-track collection of cinematic funk, soul, and jazz reworking of Glasper’s 2016 album. Feating appearances from Don Cheadle (for real), Talib Kweli, Iran Omari, and Alex Isely, and the appearance of Kaytranada, of course, brings a whole new dimension to Glasper and the Experiences’ already highly textured sound, trailblazing the supersonic world of jazz soundscapes and producing a project that is lush and utterly delightful.
