wtf! mississippi school principal allegedly cuts black boy’s locs

Another school that seems to have problems with natural Black hair, and feels entitled to cut a Black child’s hair…
Jones County, Mississippi-based Lattrice Averette called out the North Jones Elementary School principal for allegedly cutting off some of his locs to get them out of his face. She pressed charges and took her son out of the school.

The school apparently denies the allegations. Jones County Schools Superintendent Tommy Parker told WDAM that they’re investigating.
