Codeblack Film’s currently untitled upcoming biopic about notorious jewelry thief Doloris Payne finds its leading lady with Westworld’s Tessa Thompson, the actress confirmed on Twitter:

Payne’s utterly riveting story was chronicled in the 2014 documentary ‘The Life And Crimes Of Doris Payne’, from her first con stealing as a means of survival to that time she escaped federal custody to her 2011 arrest and conviction
