some brits are sh*tting their pants after study reveals first modern britons had ‘dark to black’ skin
Surprise, Mayo-Saxons! According to groundbreaking scientific research, the first modern Briton, Cheddar Man, who lived about 10,000 years ago, had “dark to Black” skin. While it was initially believed that Cheddar Man had fair skin, like the descendants of that population would suggest, the DNA drew a different image that included dark skin, blue eyes, and very curly hair. The study paints a new picture of European history that likely means that genes for lighter skin spread across Europe much later than previously understood.
