bob marley changed music forever and we’re still jammin’ to reggae

It’s easy to roll one’s eyes at the Reggae head in your dorm with all the Bob Marley posters who can’t stop greeting people with “One love”, despite having grown up in Ohio. Like many of the greats, the legacy of Bob Marley is too often reduced to stereotypes of cliche, instead of honored and cherished. Today, on what would have been Marley’s 73rd birthday, we’d like to celebrate the musical greatness and cultural significance of the man by appreciating the gold mine he left behind.
