Shot by Elise Rose, “POC Punx” is a gloriously gritty series that documents the prevalence and the awesomeness and non-white punx in their natural habitat. More than that though, Rose’s documentation of POC Punx is important historically in that it explores black and brown presences in a scene that was colonized and intolerant of the people who created punk-rock in the first place.
