‘she’s gotta have it’ actress dewanda wise lands leading role in ‘captain marvel’

More sweet news for ‘She’s Gotta Have It’ star DeWanda Wise who will not only be returning for a second season of the Netflix series, but has now claimed a role in the upcoming 90s-set Captain Marvel film. Playing a so-far unnamed character, Wise will star opposite Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Jude Law, and Ben Mendelsohn in the upcoming pic:
