Sharp-eyed fans were right about the signs pointing to new work by the Pharrell Williams-led funk-rock trio N.E.R.D, but we weren’t prepared for Rihanna dropping bars over a ridiculously infectious production and a stunning routine by a glittering dancer. We ain’t mad either.
