book: brown sugar fairies teaches early readers about compassion and healing

Young readers will swoon over Aiysha Sinclair’s magical fairytale chapter book, Brown Sugar Fairies: Saroja’s Quest. Saroja’s Quest follows young Peppa, “an inquisitive and sassy tongued ten-year-old girl with a love for books and adventure”. But when Peppa’s grandpa unexpectedly takes ill, Peppa must step up and help the family by working at a local market. Little does she know, the old market is full of even old mysteries and when she finds a book holding magical secrets, Peppa’s world is turned upside down. With fairy friend, Saroja, by her side, Peppa will embark on a journey of compassion, bravery, and healing. The story of Saroja’s Quest is accompanied by artwork by Joyceline Furniss.

In order to keep the Brown Sugar Fairies series and accompanying merch in production, Aiysha is running a Kickstarter for the project. Donors can choose from a range of pledge levels that include a limited edition, signed, hardback version of the book, an activity coloring book, artwork, and much more.
