Music legend Quincy Jones announces the launch of Qwest TV, a brand-new video streaming service dedicated to history and artistry of jazz. “We’ve come a long way since I first had the idea, many years ago, of creating a TV channel dedicated to the type of music that literally saved my life: jazz,” Jones says on the Qwest TV Kickstarter, which you can still support for the next few days! “The dream of Qwest TV is to let jazz and music lovers everywhere experience these incredibly rich and diverse musical traditions in a whole new way.”
The immersive jazz experience will host a variety of content including hand-picked concerts, documentaries, interviews, shorts, and more. All HiRes, zero ads.
With content featuring contemporary jazz musicians like Esperanza Spalding and Robert Glasper and carefully curated playlists by jazz journalists and iconic artists, Qwest is already shaping up to be something really special.
