Vice President Mike Pence’s petulant political stunt at yesterday’s Indianapolis Colt’s game where he potentially orchestrated an elaborate protest against Black NFL players protesting police brutality. Minutes after exiting the stadium the Veep released a statement graphic on his predictable and childish exist.

Which, I don’t know, he should have thought about before deciding to go to a game in the wake of President Trump’s racist, anti-NFL (read: anti-black) campaign that has encouraged hundreds of players to make a statement of resistance, even if its just against Trump.

You’d think that the Vice President was either ignorant to what’s snowballed out of Kaepernick’s #TakeAKnee over the last year or that he went to the game just to make a show of leaving it.

According to reporters and Trump himself, it was the latter.

That’s right. Just a week after a devastating mass shooting, an ongoing cyberwar with Russia, and the brink of nuclear chaos posed by North Korea (and Trump) that the Vice President of the United States of America is casually taking in a foosball game, and worse, engaging in a political stunt that uses the sacrifices of service men and women as props.

Oh, wasting a bunch of money to do it, according to CNN:

According to the Air Force, flying a C-32, the model of plane used for Air Force 2, for one hour costs about $30,000. Pence’s flight from Las Vegas to Indianapolis Saturday took about three hours and 20 minutes, so it cost about $100,000.
Pence then flew from Indianapolis to Los Angeles on Sunday, which took about four hours and 45 minutes, costing about $142,500.
The grand total: about $242,500.
Some costs of the flight into Los Angeles will be reimbursed by the Republican National Committee because Pence is attending a political event there.
If he had flown just from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, a trip lasting about 90 minutes, the cost would have been about $45,000.

But Pence’s right to an opinion is one thing. It’s his protestation of the American people using their 1st Amendment right that’s downright unconstitutional. Pence’s unfortunate statements on his choice to protest black activism went without any mention of the anti-black racism and police brutality being protested. It’s almost like Mike Pence is too under-informed to be Vice President or too racist to be.

How long until Trump/Pence starts selling hats that read “I Stand With Trump” to profit on the dead bodies of “American heroes”?
