michael b. jordan-produced superhero family drama is coming to netflix

One of Netflix’s many upcoming projects, “Raising Dion” is a 10-episode adaptation of a short film and comic book by Dennis Liu of the same name. A unique twist of the traditional point-of-view taken in most comics, “Raising Dion” follows a widowed mother, Nicole, as she raises a 7-year-old with superpowers. With the help of her late husband’s best friend, the two must help young Dion discover, cultivate, and control his powers.

Michael B. Jordan has been tapped to play Dion’s deceased father and the actor is also coming onboard as an Exec. Producer.
