Geiszel Godoy is a U.S. Army Veteran, wife, mother, and creator of Mori’s Family Adventure, a book following the Godoy family as they travel the world, enjoy adventures with each other, and learn about other regional cultures. Having previously worked on other projects as part of Black Sands Entertainment, an entertainment company that develops stories about African history and mythology, Godoy uses her background to give children who might not have the opportunity to travel abroad life-changing experiences through storytelling.

“I like bringing my experiences of traveling the world with my husband to paper,” Godoy writes on the project’s Kickstarter. “So that other kids and adults can share this wonderful experience.”

In order to provide the immersive experience of Mori’s Family Adventure to classrooms for early grade school students who are just starting to read on their own, Godoy is raising funds for production on Kickstarter. Take a look at some of the concept images below, and if you believe in the project support it today!
