What do you do when you’re an indie rock band trying to promote your new record and a rare natural phenomena passes by your home? You drive out to somewhere beautiful, put on your best NASA glasses and shoot a damn video.

The latest from Charlotte, NC’s Junior Astronomers takes a great song and a talented director and lets nature do the work. The eclipse and scenery forms a perfect backdrop for the band’s heartbroken anthem. Singer Terrence Richard’s inimitable yowl matches the starkly cinematic imagery, fading in and out of focus.

The band explains:

We wanted to do something a little different for this video and Shamus found this crazy spot. We tried to do something simple yet cinematic. Focusing on the words and music. This is the second video we’ve done with Shamus so it was great to try and take more risk.
