Queer black men embrace #blackboyjoy in the age of Trump in the short doc ‘The Consistent Slay’

A short film developed by five queer black men, “The Consistent Slay” “espouse #blackboyjoy in the era of Trump” that explores a range of intersecting issues, themes, and heightened dangers resulting from the 2016 election. Through voice-overs, melodies, and follow-along movements, “The Consistent Slay” is a cathartic experience for both the creators and viewers.
