‘Dear Male Ego’ is the splendid visual EP by artist/director Darnell  Depradine “that pushes the boundaries of masculinity by exploring the constraints on what it means to be a man.” The nearly 15-minute long film is accompanied by a cinematic 5-song soundtrack of what I can only describe as Classical Soul. Moving, gentle, and fantastical. Together, the breathtaking project challenges toxic masculinity and the societal projections of what manhood is supposed to look and act like; told through one man’s story.
