visual artist deni dimochka’s illustrations mix pop culture with afrofuturism and fantasy

Digital artist Deni Dimochka’s illustrations are both unusual and playful mixes of fantasy and Afrofuturism. Drawing inspiration from icon black figures like Grace Jones (below) and nerd culture, Deni conceptualizes diverse characters that bend gender norms, defy odds, and storytelling norms.
